We are thrilled to share Abbey and Sam's gorgeous December wedding with you today, which took place at the incredible LIMEKILM exclusive use venue in Sussex.
Abbey wore a very special Suzanne Neville dress, which combined the elements we loved from two iconic styles from the designer. We loved this custom creation so much we've even ordered our very own sample to use here at the chapel for future brides! The base of the dress starts with the legendary Amber dress - the square neck, fitted bodice with top stitch boning, long sleeves with sharp shoulders and open back are all part of the Amber DNA. This was then combined with the exquisite lace from the breathtaking Florescence dress, from top to toe, with scalloped wrist edging to the sleeves and a sweeping full length lace train.

Custom Suzanne Neville wedding dress
I wore a custom Suzanne Neville, combining Amber and Florescence.
The favourite part of my wedding dress shopping experience was the moment everything suddenly felt real, the instant I stepped into a dress that made me feel completely like myself, only elevated. Surrounded by people who knew me best, I could feel their excitement mirror my own as their faces lit up. It wasn’t just about the dress itself, but the joy, emotion, and laughter we shared in during that incredible special moment.
I was really struggling to find a full lace dress with sleeves, the right neckline, and a fit that actually felt like me. Every dress seemed to be missing something, until Miss Bush stepped in with the kind of patience and creativity I needed. They went above and beyond, taking different elements from multiple dresses and imagining how they could come together. Piece by piece, they pulled together the lace I loved, the sleeves I’d been searching for, and the neckline that finally felt perfect. What started as a difficult search turned into the creation of my dream dress.
Styling
The veil was the final touch that brought everything together. After all the time spent perfecting each detail of the dress, placing the veil into my hair felt like the moment the whole look finally came alive. It added a softness and sense of occasion that completed the vision I had been building piece by piece. In that instant, with the veil framing the dress so perfectly.
