Jesus Peiro 2410 for Ashley’s Deer Park Country House wedding to Joe
We're delighted to share Ashley and Joe's beautiful Devon wedding with you today, which took place at Deer Park Country House in August. The day was a fun, magical celebration filled with the most incredible floral displays and a relaxed, party atmosphere.
Ashley wore Jesus Peiro's 2410 wedding dress, a signature look for the brand featuring a chic halter neckline, open back and striking high collar. To style the dress, Ashley kept her accessories simple and classic, opting for fabulous mother of pearl heels by Freya Rose and a stylish up=do dotted with pearl hair pins from Miss Clemmie.
Read on to find out more about the day in Ashley's own words, with gorgeous imagery by Tara Statton Photography.

Jesus Peiro 2410 wedding dress
I went on a real journey finding my wedding dress. I knew the type of skirt, material and backless style that I was after but wasn't sure on the body or neckline. I had a general idea that I wanted it to be high neck but didn't know what style or where to start. Emma was so patient and knowledgeable in helping me find the perfect neckline. She took me on a journey through the different neckline options across all the designers at the chapel and we worked through what worked and what didn't. The last one I tried on was the 2410 style and I was sceptical at first as to whether it would suit me, but with Emma's encouragement I tried it on. Its safe to say I never looked back. I loved it straight away and was so grateful to Emma as I would never have tried it on without her expert help.
The dress made me feel elegant and very bridal (sounds obvious to say but I really felt like a bride in it). I loved its clean, sharp lines and felt very chic in it. Due to the slit down the front and open back I also felt subtly sexy. The pockets were a game changer and everyone was obsessed with them at the wedding! The whole style felt very unique and something I hadn't seen before. I also thought that Joe would never guess this type of dress and that made me so excited to walk down the aisle to him in it.
I bought my mum, bridesmaid and maid of honour to the appointments. They absolutely loved it too. After seeing me try on multiple dresses that weren't quite right, when I tried this one on and they saw my reaction they knew it was the one too!
Dress Shopping
My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was The Chapel. What a serene, calming, beautiful space you have created. I am so sad that I will no longer be visiting the chapel (I am hoping some of my friends chose to get their dress from Miss Bush so I can come back)! It felt like a really special experience to be in such a beautiful building to find my dress.
I also loved the accessories that you have at the chapel. It was so fun trying all these on with the dresses to see what a complete vision could look like! Emma even did my hair in a bridal-esque style to see what the hair pins would look like!
At one of my fittings I mentioned that I was going down to the Freya Rose boutique to try on their shoes. Emma mentioned that she knows the area well and even recommended lunch spots for when I was heading down to the boutique!
Styling
As the neckline is so statement and deserves to be in the spotlight I knew that I wanted my hair to be sleek and minimalist. I ended up going for a sleek, low bun as I wanted it to be simple. To add some fun to it I chose the Miss Clemmie classic hair pin pearls from the chapel. As soon as Emma put them in my hair I knew I wanted them for the wedding.
For the shoes I wanted open toe with a block heel so I could last the whole night dancing! Freya Rose create such stunning shoes and as soon as I saw the mother of pear heels I knew I needed a pair! They're also versatile so I'll definitely wear them again which I love.
I knew I wanted a veil and as the dress was chic and as the dress was simple satin so I went for a beautiful, single Nortier (?) tier veil. It really completed the look!
As we got married in summer I got myself some simple black sunnies too in case I needed them. The best bit was as the dress had pockets so I could slip them in there when I didn't need them!
A fun, magical celebration at Deer Park Country House in Devon
Devon holds a special place in our hearts as I went to university in Exeter and my mum and dad now live down there. As soon as we saw Deer Park with their stunning grounds and gardens we knew it was the venue for us.
We wanted the day to feel traditional but also a celebration of everything that we are and love as a couple. We opted for a Celebrant led ceremony and they took our guests through our love story so beautifully. To make it extra special we had Joes sister and her partner singing before and during the ceremony. Joes brother also sang during the drinks reception.
Deer Park has such beautiful gardens and we wanted to make the most of it, so we had the drinks reception in the Italian garden and then cocktails in the Walled Garden during golden hour!
The Orangery where the wedding breakfast was held is a gorgeous room and we wanted to fill it with lots of pastel, frothy flower meadows in bud vases, interspersed with candles in cut glass. Our florist really bought the vision to life and it was stunning.
The best bits
Walking down the aisle with my Dad and seeing Joe for the first time surrounded by our friends and family.
Cocktails during golden hour - sipping a margarita as the sun was setting with my girls will be something I never forget.
Our first dance to Elton John – Are you ready for love? This song seems synonymous with our wedding now and I just love that.
Dancing the night away with our friends and family!
Ashley's Advice
Trust the process, you'll find your dream dress even if it takes a while.
