It is an honour to share Kirby and Max's beautiful, romantic Italian wedding with you today, which took place in the stunning Corte dei Messapi villa in Puglia, Italy.

Kirby wore Suzanne Neville's iconic Hailey dress, created to fit beautifully with customised straps and bodice. To make the dress her own, Kirby added a bespoke French corded lace top made in-house by Nortier at Miss Bush, featuring a square neck to echo the elegant lines of the Hailey dress with full length sleeves and a scalloped hem. To complete her bridal look, Kirby added a traditional lace mantilla veil for a romantic, timeless finish.

Suzanne Neville Hailey wedding dress with Nortier lace jacket

I wore a bespoke Suzanne Neville Hailey dress paired with a Nortier lace jacket - the perfect finishing touch to capture that effortless Italian look! I customised the straps and back of the gown to better suit my shape, and the result was so flattering, especially with the lace layered over the top. I truly felt amazing on the day - the lace tied everything together beautifully and brought my vision to life exactly as I’d imagined.

Styling

To complete my look, I styled it with a beautiful mantilla veil – it added a timeless, romantic feel that tied in perfectly with the Italian setting. For accessories, I had a subtle pair of pearl drop earrings.

About the Day

Our wedding day was romantic, elegant and timeless.

My favourite part was having all our guests stay on-site at the venue for four days was truly unforgettable - it meant we got to spend quality time with our favourite people in one place. The live music, with a violinist and saxophonist, created the most amazing atmosphere and made the whole experience even more special.

Kirby's Advice

Try not to overthink it - choose what makes you feel confident, comfortable, and completely yourself. Be open to trying different styles, even those you wouldn’t normally go for - you might be surprised! I actually found my dress at my very first appointment, so I feel incredibly lucky that it all came together so easily.

When it comes to planning, focus on what truly matters to you as a couple - not what you think you should do. It’s easy to get caught up in the details, but the moments you’ll remember most are the ones spent with the people you love. And most importantly, enjoy the process - it goes by so quickly (especially on the day!)
