As wonderfully theatrical as this was to witness from the Frow, Jesus Peiro dresses in real life are a celebration of simplicity. Unadorned, sharply cut, striking in their sometimes challenging minimalism.
The Catalan label has legions of admirers in the UK and as I prepare to introduce our 18th consecutive collection, the dresses still thrill me as much as when I first saw them in 2006.
My Top 5 Dress from the Lumiere Collection
I have invested in the collection in depth to give British brides the best choice in the country. I love all the dresses but I have picked my top five that exemplify the brands values perfectly.

A sharp sports-luxe masterpiece. Made in Dotty silk taffeta, this dress evokes vintage tennis wear and could have been worn by Zendaya on her Challengers press trips.

Give me puff sleeves but keep them sharp. An incredibly complex pleated bodice and sleeves is teamed with a sleek skirt and the square neck that is going nowhere as far as popularity goes.

And just like that Jesus Peiro deliver the ultimate transformer dress. A sharp, neat skater dress, perfect for the after party, is teamed with a crisp, tulip shaped over skirt. Leg split, pockets and optional statement buttons make this an easy transition from formal to foxy!

Out and out bridal yeast extract!!!! I love this billowing spotty tulle for its MGM musical, leading lady, Doris Day vibes. It’s pretty and edgy in equal proportions. Feminine and feisty, it is asking to be worn by a cool Calamity Jane.

Think SJP at the 2024 Met, this structured lace cage dress is 100% a ‘me’ dress.. Slightly retro, very modern and altogether unforgettable. On the catwalk it was layered with more ruffles and would be perfect for iconic registry office weddings.
