We are so pleased to share Hailey and Ed's elegant Elmore Court wedding with you today! This beautiful wedding took place in April at the exclusive use mansion in the Cotswolds, decorated with Spring flowers in shades of pale pink and soft yellow offset by fresh greenery, along with lots of bespoke personal touches to make the day extra special for Hailey and Ed.
Hailey wore the 2403 wedding dress from Jesus Peiro, which she transformed into multiple different looks throughout the day. For the ceremony, Hailey wore the strapless dress with detachable puff sleeves from 2316, along with a romantic single tier ruffled edge veil. For her second look, Hailey removed the sleeves during the evening reception, replacing it with 2207 the sparkly cropped top.

Jesus Peiro 2403 wedding dress with 2316 puff sleeves
I always knew I wanted to try a sleeve but wasn't sure if I'd end up with one. Some say you go into the dress shopping experience with an idea and choose the complete opposite, but with me it was the exact idea I'd envisioned: sleeves! They were my favourite part of the look, bringing it together, creating a 'moment' whilst it feeling completely authentic to me. I loved the simplicity of the dress: its material, train and beautiful buttons (with a purpose, no zips in sight) on the back. I loved Jesus Peiro dresses for the fashion edge they bring to bridal, whilst somehow still remaining classic.
I didn't go into the experience thinking I'd get multiple looks in one, so the ability to add the sparkly top for the evening was an added bonus! I felt confident, comfortable and genuinely like the best version of myself.
We got engaged in 2023 with plenty of time to search for the dress, though I am a true planner (and worrier), so booked my first appointment with Miss Bush in October 2023. On this occasion I brought my mum and two sisters, who were also my bridesmaids. I was incredibly nervous at the thought of not one dress looking good on me, but as soon as I stepped into the first dress Emma had chosen, I knew Miss Bush was the right place for me, and my demeanour visibly changed. Similar to what I ended up picking, it had puff sleeves, a square neck line, slightly voluminous skirt with a slit at the front. I was shocked at how brilliantly Emma had chosen for the first dress. We tried a few more, making small tweaks, and found 2403 as only the third dress I tried on. I came away from this appointment with 3 contenders - all very similar - with Emma's knowledge and experience convincing me to wait and come back in the spring to try on new season dresses. My sisters have always been my biggest cheerleaders, and although we can be very different when it comes to style, were completely the right voices to have in the room. I was a little surprised at how much my mum loved all three contenders given they were a little more alternative than traditional dresses, but all of us kept revisiting 2403 as our favourite in the weeks after the appointment. Sadly, I lost my mum suddenly at the end of December 2023, meaning I returned to the chapel with my bridesmaids and mother-in-law a couple of times across 2024, and even trying on the new range of JP dresses, nothing came close to 2403! Knowing that my mum had seen and loved this dress was incredibly important when making the decision, though it was by far my (and everyone else's) favourite of all I tried on.
Dress Shopping at Miss Bush
After trying on the first dress, I immediately felt more comfortable and could relax into the experience a little more. I'd seen so much inspiration but determining what you admire from afar from what genuinely makes you feel good was not something I thought I would be saying was the most enjoyable part of the experience! I really learnt so much from Emma and the Miss Bush team in how to make women feel confident and self-assured, and I will take this with me when it comes to my sisters and friends' dress experiences. I ended up visiting the chapel around six times with appointments, styling and fittings - every time it felt intimate, considered and a genuinely lovely experience.
The one area which took me by surprise when first trying on - and some of my guests on the wedding day - was the level of volume in the skirt. I didn't think I'd end up with a bigger skirt, and as time grew between appointments (before I had ordered the dress), the level of volume seemed to get bigger and bigger in my head! I shared this concern with Emma, and, as the new season dresses had arrived, we were able to try on a similar dress to 2403 with a smaller skirt. This did not have nearly the same level of drama or balance for my body shape. Emma knew exactly what to do in this instance and made me feel a lot more secure in my decision - no 'what ifs' left open.
Styling
I'd always envisioned a ruffle edge veil but the double tier was a little too much with the puff sleeves - not to mention the top tier kept getting caught on them! Emma then came up with the idea of prototyping a single tier veil with ruffled edge, and by the time I came back in December 2024 for my styling appointment, the Miss Bush team had one ready! The single tier felt simpler but still brought an element of fun to the look - and I love that it was made bespoke! (Side note if you need a name for the veil, I'm happy to be a muse...)
As for shoes, I wore Loeffler Randall Camellia Pearl Pleated Bow Heels - I'd had these on my Pinterest board since 2019 and even though they'd become increasingly popular, I loved them! I then changed into a lower heel with a pointed toe from Asos for the evening - it was nice to change up the look.
I kept jewellery simple with earrings from Lily & Roo, a tennis bracelet my mum had bought me for Christmas just before she passed away, and a gold diamond bracelet gifted to me by my bridesmaids on the morning of the wedding, made by my bridesmaid's dad.
A personal, elegant wedding at Elmore Court
We got married at Elmore Court on the edge of the Cotswolds - we live in Kent but after seeing the ceremony hall on a photographer's page, I instantly loved it. We wanted a spring-like feel to the styling, with white, blush pink and baby yellow seasonal florals, lots of greenery with a slightly undone feel. On the outside of the house, our florist constructed a floral installation with lots of greenery on the pillars. Moving into the ceremony hall, we had two big wild and whimsical urns raised on white plinths, with textured foliage, branches and spring flowers. We lined meadows slices down the aisle and placed cylinder vases with pillar candles at the end, giving a cosy feel. Our ceremony was very personal - it was important to us that we were legally married on the day, but we tried to bring as much of a personal edge to it as we could. Before the ceremony began, Ed lit a candle in honour of my mum, held in a glass candle holder dried with flowers from her funeral. I also asked the registrar for a moment's reflection at the start of the ceremony, to honour my mum and those who were no longer with us. During the ceremony, we performed a unity candle ritual whereby Ed's mum lit a candle on behalf of his family, passing this to Ed, and in turn I lit another taper candle using the flame from my mum's. Ed and I then lit a unity candle together to signify the joining of our two families, as well as our marriage.
The reception was held in the Gillyflower, a beautiful room which emphasises the landscape surrounding it via its large windows, and a beautiful glass teardrop installation in its centre - so it really didn't need much. We moved the urns to the front of the Gillyflower, repurposed the aisle meadows for the ends of the tables, and filled the centre with taper candles and bud vases at varying heights and textures. I created the stationery and hand-wrote all of the place cards - the one compliment I always get is on my handwriting, so I thought I'd put it to good use! We also created personalised Tony's Chocolonely favours, as I in particular have a very sweet tooth. A couple of weeks before the wedding, I asked an old friend of mine to design bespoke pizza box signs for us, another personal touch our guests loved. We had large 'sip and solve' crosswords put out during the reception drinks for our guests to complete. Ed absolutely loves music and meticulously created all of the playlists for the various parts of the day, so the music felt very distinctive to us, from the string quartet playing Foo Fighters and Paramore before the ceremony and as my aisle approach, to our entrance before dinner being Chris Stapleton's White Horse.
The best bits
It's true when people say the day does go so fast, but it always felt like we had another part to look forward to as the day went on. It was made up of so many lovely moments for us both. I started the day getting ready with my bridesmaids, and my younger sister, who is also handily a Charlotte Tilbury Pro Make Up Artist, did my make up for the wedding. She has genuinely never done my make up so well, knowing the composition and contours of my face better than I do, and it was incredibly special - and calming - to have my sister get me ready, together with my older sister as the steady presence I needed when getting into my dress. When doing the dress reveal with my dad, his favourite song 'Texas Sun' came on in the background with the playlist on shuffle, a very meaningful moment which was to be a marker of what was to come throughout the day!
The ceremony was a highlight, with the string trio, "Union" as our reading by our sister in law, and performing the unity candle ritual. The speeches were also a favourite part - we had 5, so this part of the day could have felt a little laboured, but I think we got the right balance. Ed's dad was our MC, introduced us to the wedding breakfast and performed a brilliant speech to start us off. After dinner, we then had my dad, Ed, Ed's brother and best man Will, and I give a speech. There was a lot of emotion in the room; it was important to honour my mum and convey a sense of our story over the last twelve years of being together. It was a real moment of poignancy for all of the guests - not a dry eye in the house.
It was also lovely to have several moments just between the two of us sprinkled throughout the day. A particular highlight was at golden hour with our photographer and videographer, literally chasing the light at the front of the house, with all of us running through the wild meadows to find the best light before the sun set. We chose incredibly well when it came to our suppliers, and having these quiet moments throughout the day was very special - even better when it's captured on film.
The evening was so much fun, starting off with our favourite singer, MT Jones, play our first dance and a set thereafter. Ed found him on Spotify about 18 months before the wedding, and as we were deciding what our first dance would be in the run up, we wondered what it would be like for him to play it live for us even though he definitely is not a wedding singer. A few emails later and we'd made it happen - this was so unlike us - and just goes to show if you don't ask, you don't get! MT was an absolute highlight of the day, incredibly special, and something we will never forget or take for granted. After MT, we had the band Audio Sugar come on playing 3 sets and a mix of motown classics and modern day alternatives like Wheatus and Blink 182. I don't think Ed and I left the dancefloor once, alongside most of our guests. One of the groomsmen even splitting his trousers from twisting and shouting too hard. Guests staying in the main house then decamped to the drawing room when the wedding had finished, and our evening food supplier, Dough Wood Fired Pizza had left us pizzas for a midnight snack - utterly perfect!!
Hailey's Advice
On finding the dress, it's really natural to feel apprehensive beforehand, but try to listen to your instincts and advocate for what you really want. Choose those around you wisely - whether that's bringing those who will build you up to the appointment, or your bridal boutique team, who create a positive atmosphere, grounding you in their knowledge of the industry.
On wedding planning, it doesn't need to be stressful - focus on making your day authentic to you both as a couple, choosing what you like, and having it reflect your personalities. This will shine through on the day, and your guests will really notice it.
