We are sharing Hannah and George's classic English country pub wedding with you today, featuring one of Jesus Peiro's most iconic wedding dresses. The wedding took place in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, with a traditional church ceremony at St John the Baptist in Andover followed by a relaxed marquee reception at The Greyhound on the Test, Stockbridge.

Hannah wore Jesus Peiro's 200 wedding dress - a style which we have adored since 2020 and continues to be a firm favourite here at The Chapel. This dress is quintessentially Jesus Peiro, featuring crisp, clean lines with a regal high collar and statement ballgown skirt. Hannah styled her look with chic pink satin ballerina flats and classic diamond jewellery.

Jesus Peiro 200 wedding dress

I chose my dress because it was so striking and timeless. The moment I tried it on I knew it was the one. It was perfect, and made me feel instantly confident and comfortable. I felt beautiful all day, and just completely myself.

I brought my mum with me to the chapel - I knew she loved the dress instantly!

Dress Shopping at Miss Bush

My favourite part of dress shopping was sharing the whole experience with my Mum. Finding my dress together felt so special, it was our little moment full of excitement and happy tears. I loved how incredible I felt when I tried on the dress, but the whole experience was lovely.

I couldn't make my mind up about the petticoat. I kept going back and forth on how much volume I wanted! The team at Miss Bush were so understanding and patient, even extending my fitting appointment so I could take the time to re-try the options and be completely sure.

Styling

I wore flat Charles and Keith Ballerinas, a diamond necklace my Granny gave me for my 21st birthday, and diamond earrings which were a gift from George my husband. I wore a Nortier veil which was very classic but full of volume.

A classic English country pub wedding

We were married at St John the Baptist Church in Andover, my husband's parish church. George and I then stopped off at his parents house - as they live a few doors down from the church - for a breather and a glass of champagne, then the reception was at The Greyhound on the Test, in Stockbridge.

The day itself was boiling hot - a quintessentially English summer day, and in the perfect setting.

Our wedding was filled with joy, laughter, tears, and the kind of happiness that's impossible to put into words.

The food from the Greyhound was absolutely incredible, and the flowers by Featherstone Flowers were so beautiful and delicate, the perfect finishing touch in an already beautiful garden.

It was so warm in the evening we stayed out all night. Some people chatted round the fire pits and others danced to the silent disco - which we thought was amazing!

We had just the best best day!

The best bits

This is so tricky! I loved it all.

One of my favourite moments was the ceremony itself. It felt solemn and meaningful, yet full of happiness and love.

Afterwards, we took a quiet moment together before heading to the reception, which was such a lovely pause to take everything in.

The speeches were all incredible, my face ached from smiling, crying and laughing so much. And later on, the silent disco was brilliant - pure nostalgia!

Hannah's Advice

When I look back on planning the wedding, its those little celebrations along the way that I look back on really fondly. Finding my dress was one of those moments I'll treasure, especially sharing it with my Mum. It felt like our own special little moment.
