Lucy and Will's relaxed marquee wedding was a beautifully styled, fun, family focused celebration filled with stunning flowers, and thoughtful personal touches provided by friends and family. The day began with a romantic ceremony at the local church, followed by a marquee reception at the bride's family home, decorated with massed of beautiful peonies, homemade decorations and delicious food cooked on open fires.

Lucy wore Jesus Peiro style 2425, a relaxed, smock style wedding dress with an elegant square neckline and floaty puff sleeves. Lucy kept her look simple and chic, with a sleek up-do and classic jewellery, finished with a splash of colour from a pair of fabulous bright orange velvet platforms.

Jesus Peiro 2425 wedding dress

It was the first dress I tried on, and I fell in love with the sleeves. I felt elegant and amazing on the day; it was the perfect dress for me.

My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was... All of it! It was just fun and easy from start to finish.

Styling

I wanted a clean and elegant look with pockets of fun. I went for a slick back bun with simple makeup. I wore Boodles Jewellery and then bright orange velvet shoes from Penelope Chilvers.

A relaxed family wedding in Haslemere

We got married in Haslemere, which is where I grew up. We had a church service, where my brother walked me down the aisle. The service was created by us from personal reading and classic hymns; there were lots of little nods in there to my dad, who has passed away. Back to my family's house for drinks reception and party, lots of homemade signs, homemade furniture, and endless fire pits. We had 600 peonies from my best friend's farm and delicious food cooked on open fires by our friend Rosie and Ripe, and then we danced the night away. It really was the best day of our lives and filled with so much love.
