Hannah had a custom version of Suzanne Neville's beautiful Madison wedding dress created for the day. Whilst Hannah loved the lace top and bodice from Madison, the skirt was a little heavy for the Italian destination wedding, so Hannah had her dress created with the lighter organza skirt from the Moonlight dress. With a front split, the custom skirt was just perfect for the day, allowing Hannah to feel cool and comfortable, as well as show off her incredible Aquazzura heels! To finish her look, Hannah added a stunning diamond necklace as her 'something borrowed' as well as a romantic lace trimmed veil.

Custom Suzanne Neville Madison wedding dress

I knew I would be drawn towards Suzanne Neville designs for the corsetry. I thought I would like an all over lace design with long sleeves, but those dresses felt too formal for the surroundings and weather in Puglia. I loved the beautiful lace of the Madison dress, but the mikado silk skirt also felt too heavy for a summer italian wedding. Ben suggested a bespoke design with the Moonlight silk organza skirt, which felt perfect.

My Mum and sister both loved the Madison top more than anything else I had tried on and could see how comfortable I felt in it.

Dress Shopping at Miss Bush

The toile fitting with Jo was really fun and felt like a very special experience that I will probably never have again. I have never seen so many pins. The first appointment with Ben was also great, getting to try on lots of different styles.

Styling

I chose some beautiful (and very high!) shoes from Aquazzura, along with a special family diamond necklace borrowed from my mum.

A relaxed wedding in Puglia

We got married at Masseria Amastula, a working winery / hotel in rural Puglia. I wanted a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The surroundings and views are already beautiful, so I didn't want to overdecorate. I love candles and flowers, so they were the decorative focus, along with great / varied music and delicious Italian food and wine.

The best bits

The dance floor was full from start to finish as we had a fantastic band and dj. Another highlight was the drinks reception with the 'live' cheese stalls, Aperol spritz cart and saxophonist. The fireworks display was breath-taking and a fabulous surprise for our guests.

Hannah's Advice

Soak up everything, as it all goes too quickly and wedding planning / dress shopping is a unique experience.
