It is brilliant to share another beautiful Nortier bride with you today! Verity wore a customised version of the Schiffer wedding dress, which features a pointed drop waist corset bodice above a voluminous ballgown skirt. To make the dress her own, Verity added wide shoulder straps, as well as a cluster of vintage inspired floral corsages to the base of the button back. A split front skirt adds drama to the final look, ideal to show off Verity's dream wedding shoes; the iconic Manolo Blahnik Hangisi heels in classic Royal blue, as seen on Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City.
The wedding took place in West Sussex, with a traditional church ceremony at St Mary's in Horsham followed by a romantic reception at Georgian manor house Findon Place.

Nortier Schiffer wedding dress
I wore the Schiffer wedding dress by Nortier - it was timeless and so vogue!
My Mum was unsure of my choice and first. When she saw the finished piece she understood and saw the vision. It was epic.
Dress Shopping at Miss Bush
I looked forward to every appointment at Miss Bush. Every request was always met with a 'yes'! It was amazing!
I was very specific about the shoes I wanted. The Miss Bush team sat with me to literally search eBay to find them... The commitment was amazing and the next day I found the shoes! It was so kind and I wont forget!
Styling
I styled by dress with a short 2 tier veil and the Sex and the City Blue satin Manolos!
Sapphire earrings to match my engagement ring and no other jewellery. I wanted all eyes on the dress and shoes!
A classic, romantic wedding at Findon Place
We were married in my Nanny’s church, St Mary’s in Horsham, a place that holds a very special place in my heart. I spent portions of my childhood there, and it’s filled with the most beautiful memories, so it felt deeply meaningful to say our vows in such a sentimental setting. After the ceremony, we continued the celebrations with our wedding breakfast and reception at the stunning Findon Place. It was the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening, and we truly had the most fun dancing the night away with our loved ones.
Our families are spread all over the world, so it’s a rare and precious thing to have everyone in one place. That in itself made the day incredibly emotional and special. To be able to bring everyone together to celebrate not only our wedding, but also the journey George and I have shared, was one of the most meaningful experiences of our lives.
The best bits
The small pockets of time I could breathe it all in with my husband; the best moments.
The church was incredibly emotional and so special.
Verity's Advice
Finding your dream wedding dress is one of the most exciting parts of the wedding journey - but it can also come with a bit of pressure.
Here’s the most important thing to remember: your dress should feel like you. Whether it’s timeless and elegant, bold and modern, or romantic and ethereal, your gown should reflect your personality and make you feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable.
TRY EVERYTHING! What you think you hate will surprise you!
Don’t worry about trends or what you “should” wear. The right dress isn’t about perfection - it’s about how you feel when you put it on.
