Miss Bush fans will recognise a very familiar face on our blog today, as we share the wedding of our muse, model and friend of over 10 years, the lovely Chloe Keenan. When Chloe announced her engagement to Prashant in Venice in 2024, there was never any question that she would finally become a real Miss Bush bride after many years of modelling for us at countless shoots and events. The wedding saw the couple returning to Venice, where they were married at the breath-taking Hotel Excelsior, with an intimate, emotional ceremony followed by portraits on the lido and a beautiful celebration in the hotel ballroom.
Chloe's dress was always going to be Jesus Peiro, and the planning process featured a very special 'money can't buy' trip to the brand's headquarters in Barcelona with our MD, Emma, to design her custom couture dress in person with Creative Director Merche Segarra. The result was a stunning strapless ballgown with a crisp straight neckline and voluminous princess skirt, all made from exquisite floral brocade fabric.

Custom Jesus Peiro wedding dress
I chose a bespoke Jesus Peiro dress which was a bit of combination of 2 dresses I had seen in their past collections. The neckline I had seen on a fully beaded style which I just fell in love with and their beautiful big skirts were something I had always admired and dreamt of wearing for my own wedding.
The choice of fabrics were plenty but I have always loved their use of florals and the fabric I chose couldn't have been a better choice for the style of my dress and my venue.
I was very lucky to get to experience having my dress designed at the Jesus Peiro HQ in Barcelona, it really was the most special experience and I had Emma (MB) and Marion from Jesus Peiro with me and they both helped me decide on the final design.
I didn't share any clues or images with anyone else about my dress so it was a complete surprise on my wedding day for all my friends and family.
Dress Shopping at Miss Bush
Getting to go to Barcelona was such a surreal experience and one of the most exciting parts of my whole wedding journey. I also absolutely loved coming into the Miss Bush Chapel for my fittings though as after visiting the chapel so many times it was always a dream to actually be a real bride going to Miss Bush!
The whole Miss Bush team were absolutely amazing and made sure the whole process was seamless and they were just so kind and helpful with everything.
The team at Miss Bush were so supportive throughout the whole planning journey and gave me so much advice on the whole wedding day process. I was able to get advice on flowers, styling, the generally running of the day and mist importantly how to transport my wedding dress on a plane to Italy!
Styling
I styled my look with a beautiful double layer veil that was just so perfect, I left it on the whole day! It really just complimented the whole look and I just didn't want to take it off.
My dress and veil were just so elegant and beautiful I didn't want to over do the styling so I opted for a pair of earrings my husband had gifted me for the wedding, which really complimented the dress and that was it!
A magical, emotional wedding in Venice
We got married at the Hotel Excelsior in Venice on the Lido which is a quieter and more private part of Venice. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and famously hosts the Venice Film Festival. It has charm, history and beauty and when we went to see the venue for the first time we instantly fell in love with it.
The ball room which we spent most of the wedding in was already so beautiful. it was for me the room that made me want to get married there so we felt that we wanted to style to room to compliment what was already so elegant. We opted for flowers in hues of deep and pale pinks as their were marble features in the room in those tones and I am so glad we decided to go for some colour as the room really looked so sublime!
My husband is originally from India so we wanted to gift authentic Indian wedding favours to our guests and made a display table of gifts for every one to take home.
I designed the place cards and table cards and named each table after a famous Italian composer or musician.
The music for me was an important part of the day, as I studied classical music myself and have always wanted a string quartet at my wedding so we hired a wonderful string quartet who played a wonderful selection of Italian music in traditional Venetian costume as guests arrived and through out the ceremony. I chose 'La Cygne' (The Swan) by Debussy to be playing as I walked down the aisle as this is one of my favourite pieces of music and always makes me feel quite emotional and I did feel quite swan like gliding down the aisle in my dress!
For the wedding dinner we opted for a relaxed jazz band which created a great atmosphere whilst everyone enjoyed their meal and then a fun DJ for dancing after!
Everything came together so well on the day but it really was the people that were there that made the day so special.
The best bits
My favourite moments from the day were when we exchanged our vows, I felt so nervous and emotional walking down the aisle but I really did feel like it was only Prashant and I in the room in that moment.
The moment when Emma and Marion got me into my dress and we did a dress reveal to my Mum and Bridesmaids was such a special moment, I was quite anxious in the morning on the day but once my makeup and hair had been done and my dress was on I felt calm and ready and all the ladies in the room that morning made me feel so loved - I feel teary writing this part!!
I also think just seeing all my favourite people in one room together from different walks of life when I entered the ceremony was just so special and overwhelming and it meant so much to us both that everyone had come all the way to Venice to celebrate our marriage.
