We're pleased to share Eleanor and Joe's idyllic countryside wedding in Kent. The celebrations began with a traditional ceremony at the local church, followed by a relaxed yet elegant garden reception at the family home.
For her bridal look, Eleanor chose a bespoke Jesus Peiro wedding dress, combining her favourite elements from two different designs to create her own unique look. The finished gown featured the elegant high-neck bodice of style 2422, paired with the sleek column skirt of style 2532.
To complete her look, Eleanor added the delicate Kitty lace jacket by Nortier, layered beneath the dress to provide coverage for the church ceremony, before being removed for the evening reception. For a beautiful finishing touch, Eleanor incorporated a treasured family veil into her look, reimagining it as a simple ribbon attached to her chic updo.

Custom Jesus Peiro wedding dress with Nortier lace top
I absolutely loved wearing my dress and didn't want to take it off.
I was fairly open minded going into wedding dress shopping, the only thing I was set on was having sleeves. I tried on a number of dresses but when Ben showed me the high neck Jesus Peiro, I instantly knew it had me written all over it. I changed the skirt to an a-line and attached the lace sleeves leaving the back of the dress open.
Dress Shopping at Miss Bush
The whole experience at Miss Bush was perfect from start to finish. I was apprehensive about trying on wedding dresses but the minute I stepped inside the chapel I instantly felt relaxed. Ben was amazing for my first two visits, creating different visions and helping me reach the final look. Jo was also a huge help when it came to the alterations and I couldn't have been happier.
Styling
Even though it was hot and I'd chosen to wear a high neck with sleeves, I felt totally me wearing it - classic but a bit different! I used our family veil which I had made into a long ribbon instead of a veil and I wore Charlotte Mills shoes.
A traditional English countryside wedding at home
The overall theme was English countryside - lots of greenery and pastel coloured flowers. We got married at our local church, my brother walked me down the aisle which was emotional but very special. The church itself is beautiful so we kept flowers simple and tied gypsophila to the pew ends.
Joe and I drove away in the family Land Rover to the reception which we had in the garden. I got a lot of my inspiration from Pinterest - keeping the tables simple with potted herbs, bud vases and candles. We decorated it all ourselves which was fun to do with our families the day before.
The best bits
We had the best day from start to finish and wish we could do it all over again with our friends and family. It's an overwhelming day, so it was nice to be taken away for photos and allow us some time together to catch our breath!
