We're delighted to share Emily & Matt's joyful countryside wedding with you today, which took place at the stunning The Manor Barn, Harlton, Cambridge. The day was relaxed and fun, with beautiful styling, good food, live music and a special guest appearance from the bride and groom's dog, Copper.

Emily wore Jesus Peiro's stunning 2403 strapless wedding dress, featuring a fitted moulded bodice and a full a-line skirt with front pleats for added volume. To make the look her own, Emily added a gorgeous oversized statement bow to the back of the gown. To style her look, Emily chose to wear here hair in soft waves, accessorised with a romantic single tier veil.

Jesus Peiro 2403 wedding dress

I was torn between two dresses, but the ability to add a custom top and bow to the plain 2403 it was an easy win in the end. I felt like a princess but completely personalized with the fabulous bow - I'm known for my bows! It couldn't have been more perfect, or more me!

My Mum and my sister came dress shopping with me. It was an easy win; we went to two other shops and nothing came close. My sister started trying on the accessories in the chapel after seeing me and my mum cried, which was very unlike her.

Dress Shopping at Miss Bush

My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was The chapel - its just stunning, standing in the stain glass window. I was apprehensive as I don't love parts of my body, but I loved and felt amazing in everything. Emma was great at showing me plenty of options too, so I 100% knew it was the one.

My body changed a lot due to illness and stress between my measurements and my wedding, so there ended up being a lot of alternations, which they were great about.

Styling

Zara shoes! I tried them on in the chapel and they were the perfect height and shape so just bought the new season ones!

I had the dotty top for our cocktail hour (so many compliments on that too), and the custom made bow which I refused to take off all day!

A relaxed, joyous country barn wedding

We got married in a barn in Cambridge, as both our families/grandparents had farms when we were children. We had 110 people, lots of food, cocktails, and our beautiful dog Cooper was there. We had our favourite cake, and marrying into a family of singers and musicians we had an amazing band both for acoustic and evening music.

The best bits

The dog being there, the speeches and walking down the aisle - both up and down it!
