Greg & Sarah's beautiful, relaxed barn wedding took place in Spring at Cissbury Barn, Findon, against a backdrop of the stunning South Downs. Inspired by Spring, and the natural beauty of their location, the day was filled with seasonal flowers with a soft pastel colour palette.

Sarah wore Jesus Peiro 2203 for her wedding day, which she loved for its minimalist taffeta fabric, fitted bodice and full wrap skirt with front split and pockets. Sarah styled her look with pretty ankle strap heels from Charlotte Mills, and delicate floral hair accessories from Eden B that were just perfect for Spring.

A Jesus Peiro 2203 wedding dress

I chose the Jesus Piero 2203, I loved the simplicity of the fabric. This dress is all about the shape and with Emma, Corrine and Willows help it fitted perfectly. The wrap skirt gave a fun modern twist to a full skirt and even had pockets! The dress was super comfortable and I knew I'd be able to dance all evening unencumbered.

Mum and I attended all of my Miss Bush appointments together, when I first came out of the dressing room in the Jesus Peiro 2203 Mum was lost for words and was holding back a few tears, I could tell she loved it as much as I did.

Dress Shopping

As soon as we met Emma, Mum and I knew Miss Bush would be where I found my wedding dress. We could tell we were in the presence of a true bridal expert. At that first appointment Emma paid close attention to my preferences, body shape and style and after trying on some dresses I had pre-selected she suggested I tried on a dress of her choosing, that dress was of course the Jesus Peiro 2203 and I never looked back. I feel so grateful that Emma was able to bring to life my personal bridal style and introduce me to such a beautiful dress.

Working as a doctor I sometimes found it difficult to get time off for my Miss Bush appointments. The team at Miss Bush were so wonderfully accommodating helping me to rearrange appointments, often to evening slots to ensure they fitted my schedule.

Styling

My shoes were from Charlotte Mills and hair accessories by Eden B Studios. My earrings and rings came from Whibleys Jewellers.

About the Day

Spring is my favourite time of year, we chose a May Wedding to make the most of the natural beauty of the South Downs where I grew up. We had a relaxed barn style wedding, the flowers were fresh pastels in garden style arrangements, we picked out these pastel colours for the remainder of our decor and were so pleased with the results.

The best bits

We both loved our first dance to Nat King Coles L.O.V.E, we hadn't planned the dance and just had a lot of fun with it, surrounded by friends and family. It felt like a very special moment.
