For a number of years now, Miss Bush has hosted an exclusive Summer launch event to celebrate the new release from Jesus Peiro. As always, the Barcelona based bridal label have given us a collection worth celebrating, with an innovative and inspiring selection of brilliantly designed wedding dresses and separates.

Named 'Ninfas;' creative director Merche Segarra was inspired by 'a garden of light inhabited by magnificent creatures, Nymphs.' Jesus Peiro’s signature crisp, preppy dresses with pockets and pleated skirts in textured taffeta that take a bride effortlessly from church to marquee, are joined by breezy romantic dresses that perfectly illustrate the ‘Ninfas’ theme. We also see creative separates, a huge range of incredible luxury fabrics and striking, interesting shapes and silhouettes. The collection as ever is impeccably sourced, made in Barcelona with a full range of made to measure and demi couture options.

Ninfas at Miss Bush

For the launch event, Miss Bush MD, Emma interpreted and modernised the theme with references to the work of Madeline Miller, Pat Barker and Nikita Gill. Strong styling, gold jewellery and shades of emerald eye makeup reinterpret and reinforce that these are Ninfas brides for a new age.

Emma hosted one of her legendary salon style fashion shows, set against a backdrop of blue-green colour wash.

Surrey artist Aga Skiba was commissioned to install a mural, which was even bigger and better than we ever imagined - our brides to be and their guests were wowed by the floor to ceiling weeping willow and lily pond covering the back wall from floor to ceiling.

A secret garden

The chapel was styled using a wealth of foliage, plants and flowers to reflect the classic Greek mythological ideas of Nymphs.

Ali from Mad Lilies and Gill Pike Florist were tasked with transforming the chapel into a wild, overgrown wonderland, and wow, they delivered! The chapel archway was covered with one of our biggest installations ever, with huge swathes of lush foliage and flowers taking over the doorway as if they had been left to grow and take over for months. Guests had to duck through to make their way into the chapel, as if they were making their way through the bushes into a hidden clearing in a magical woodland.

Inside, extra large floral displays on wooden plinths complemented Aga's mural in the mirror box, whilst trailing ivy came down from the mezzanine, display boxes and bar area to complete the look.

Cocktails & Canapes

The Drunken Jockeys set up their green tiled pop up bar in the chapel, serving a selection of themed cocktails. Guests could choose from Apate’s Tonic (Wessex Gin, fresh basil leaves, gold peppercorns and celery bitters) Circe’s Sour (Beefeater Gin, lemon juice, Regal Rogue Vermouth, fresh orange juice and a green chartreuse rinse) or Midas Touch (El Jimador blanco tequila, Golden Falernum, Curacao, Mint Syrup, Lemon Juice and Grapefruit bitters.)

Our caterers Two Many Cooks served up pan a delightful array of Mediterranean canapes, presented on platters overflowing with greenery. Treats included pomegranate studded babaganoush on labneh, blackened chicken flatbreads with tzatziki and Zoella’s sweet, sticky baklava.

Post Covid weddings are bigger, bolder with more dress changes than ever. This collection can take a bride to the East End of London, to European shores, to an idyllic rural British setting or to a chic hotel.
