Hannah in Jesus Peiro 933 for a picturesque Hampshire wedding
It is so wonderful to be able to share Hannah & Will's picturesque Hampshire wedding with you today, set in the stunning English countryside. With the ceremony taking place at All Saints' Church, East Meon, the couple then celebrated their marriage in an elegantly styled marquee on the grounds of their farm in Hockham Valley.
Hannah wore Jesus Peiro 933 for their day; a striking, romantic dress with a full pleated skirt, deep v-neckline and delicate bows to each shoulder. It was the perfect choice for their timeless, elegant day, and looked wonderful against the breathtaking views across the valley.

Hannah's Jesus Peiro 933 wedding dress
I fell in love with the clean lines and simplicity of the shape. If ever there's a day to wear a full A-line dress with extra petticoat volume...it's your wedding day!
My first visit to Miss Bush was my first wedding dress shopping experience ever. I brought my mother and my mother-in-law. The first dress Corinne put me in was the 933 - it had instant drama, and as it was the first wedding dress my mother had seen me in, it definitely triggered a few emotions. From that moment on, no other dress compared. Even when I went to a well known wedding dress supplier in London to try on the lace dress I thought I wanted, I ended up coming back to Miss Bush with my heart set on the 933.
Dress Shopping
Personally, I felt that Miss Bush was the perfect place to start my wedding dress shopping experience. All the dresses are so beautiful and unique, but they also have such a range of different shapes and styles. With Corinne's guidance, it made it really simple to narrow down which suited me best. Every time I visited the Chapel, it felt like a completely exclusive shopping experience. The team focused all their energy on you, and were so supportive during what was a completely unprecedented 18 months leading up to our wedding day. One of my favourite appointments was the accessory session, where I came back to the Chapel for the first time since purchasing the dress, and got to try on all the beautiful veils - it was so exciting to start to put the final look together!
Apart from Covid-19, there were absolutely no issues with my dress shopping experience. Miss Bush allowed me to store my dress at home for the year while my wedding was postponed. And were in touch promptly to arrange fitting appointments when they reopened earlier this year.
Styling
Although my original preference had been for a lace trim veil, as soon as I tried it on, I realised that it did not work with the clean, modern lines of the Jesus Peiro dress. I opted for a long veil in keeping with our 'English country garden' theme, with appliquéd blossom at the end (Couture Veil - Chloe, stitched with Arianna.)
My shoes were by the Spanish brand Menbur - they were peep toe, with jewel encrusted sling backs (Onusle.)
Hannah and Will's picturesque Hampshire wedding
Our original wedding date was 18th July 2020, which was then postponed to 19th June 2021. But after Boris' announcement of 'Freedom Day' on 21st June, we hastedly postponed again to Thursday 24th June 2021. With the date approaching, we were feeling positive, until the Delta variant took hold, and we suddenly found ourselves sat on the sofa, 10 days before we were due to get married, waiting to hear whether Boris would allow us to have 30 or 130 people at our wedding.
Fortunately, we were allowed our full numbers, and with some re-styling of our outdoor marquee area to allow for seated champagne and canapés, we were able to go ahead with everything we had planned.
We were married at All Saint's church in East Meon village, where Will grew up and where his family farm is located. It was so incredible to see all of our friends and family gathered all together, many of whom we hadn't seen face to face in over a year. Flowers were always going to be an important part of the wedding for me and my mother, and our florist Hannah Berry and her team did an unbelievable job recreating our vision.
Although we were having a marquee wedding on a farm, we wanted to keep the look sophisticated, with white linen table cloths, silver birch trees in the church and in the marquee, floral hanging planks, and lots of candles.
The best bits
This is super difficult:
- walking down the aisle to Will and being really proud of myself for not bursting into tears
- getting a moment just the two of us, while we drove back to the reception in our wedding car
- being announced as Mr & Mrs for the first time, as we danced in to the marquee before the Wedding Breakfast
- Will's kind words in his Grooms' speech
Hannah's Advice
About finding the dream dress...keep an open mind, listen to the team (they are the experts), and choose something you 'want' to wear, rather than what you think you 'should' wear. For me, I feel that your dress is an extension of you and your personality.
About the wedding day...all the clichés are true: it goes too fast, you don't get to speak to everyone you want to, and it is the absolutely the best day of your life. Take a moment for yourselves, look around, and take it all in!
