We're delighted to share Natalie and James' beautiful Belvoir Castle wedding with you today. Set within the stunning Leicestershire countryside, the castle was Natalie and James' dream wedding venue, which they filled with fun and personal touches to make the day extra special.

Natalie wore Suzanne Neville's Sapphire wedding dress, which she customised with an extra long train for added impact. Natalie styled her look with an incredible pair of statement heels from Sophia Webster, along with a Miss Clemmie hair accessory and a romantic Cathedral length veil.

Suzanne Neville Sapphire wedding dress

I chose the stunning Suzanne Neville Sapphire dress and added an additional foot onto the train. I’ve always loved Suzanne’s designs, the corsetry in all her dresses is amazing and for someone with a bigger bust I needed good support! I felt gorgeous in my dress. It was the first one I tried when I started my dress hunt and nothing could compare.I brought my mum and sister with me to my first trial. They gasped and I cried! So safe to say we all agreed it was Sapphire

Dress Shopping

My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was the team at Miss Bush! They were absolutely amazing. Rosie knew exactly which styles of dress would suit me but also asked lots of questions about the venue I had chosen, the church and the style I was going for.
Jo and Willow we’re amazing with my fittings. I was really nervous about how I could wear an off the shoulder dress with my bust but my corset fitted like a glove.Problems or issues Miss Bush team helped with... Covid! I had to postpone twice. The team at Miss Bush were a fantastic support. The regular updates, the Facebook community that was created, even the quiz nights! Throughout the challenge and uncertain time over the pandemic the Miss Bush team helped me to stay calm with all the changes and rearrangement. Thank you x

Styling

I chose the most beautiful cathedral veil from The couture veil. I knew it was the one as soon as I tried it at my first fitting. I also used Miss Clemmie for my hair piece and chose The Cavendish comb. Not forgetting the shoes!! I went for some ridiculous Sophia Webster butterfly wing shoes. I think my photographer loved them almost as much as I did! 😂

A fun and personal wedding at Belvoir Castle

At the very beginning of our wedding planning James and I both wrote down what type of venue we wanted for our wedding day…it was a castle! We had a big wedding with lots of personal touches throughout the day. We kept the styling quite simple as the venue was amazing just on its own.

The best bits

Finally saying I do! The whole day was magical, it’s hard to choose a favourite part. I loved getting ready with my girls and mum, seeing my Dad’s face when I was ready, seeing James’s face when I walked down the aisle and just being able to celebrate with family and friends after such a long time.

Natalie's Advice

On the day.. take in and enjoy every second of it, it really does go so fast.No one knows exactly how you have planned the day so don’t sweat the small stuff (easier said than done, I know!)
