Amanda and Rupert's cosy, festive wedding took place in late December at the Parish of St Peter & St Paul church in Ringwood, followed by a beautifully styled reception at Somerley House, Hampshire. The day was dressed perfectly for Christmas with rich red and green florals and masses of twinkling candles for a magical, romantic atmosphere.

Amanda looked incredible in Suzanne Neville's Orianna wedding dress; a perfectly fitted gown with a sweeping fishtail skirt and elegant off-the-shoulder neckline. Amanda styled the dress perfectly for the day with glamorous loose curls, simple diamond earrings and a classic full length veil.

Suzanne Neville Orianna wedding dress

I absolutely loved how the dress fitted so perfectly - I felt like a movie star!!I brought my maid of honour with me when I first found my dress. It was the first I tried on and I loved it straight away. She also confirmed it was definitely 'the one'!! The fittings were so much fun. I got to see how the dress was evolving and looking even more beautiful every time I tried it on.

Styling

My veil was my sister in laws and was my something borrowed. I wore my mother's diamond earrings and my shoes were a pair of Manolo Blahnik's that I found at Neiman Marcus in L.A a few years ago

A cosy, festive wedding at Somerley House

The day was incredibly Christmassy which was our theme. Red roses, thistle, ivy and red berries were incorporated in the bouquets. We also had beautiful candles everywhere which made the dining room look magical! One of the highlights was walking into the dining room, seeing all of our family and friends laughing, hugging and celebrating was incredibly special.

My advice for new brides is to try to enjoy the whole experience and not to stress too much!
