Christmas has arrived at the chapel! Whilst so many things have been cancelled this year and we've not been able to host our usual calendar of events, one thing we've still been able to continue to do is keep our arch styled and beautiful throughout the seasons.

We were delighted to welcome Mad Lilies back to the chapel on 1st December. Mad Lilies have been creating our arches for a few years now, and it's so wonderful to see how they reinvent the arch and create a completely different look every time. Read on to find out more about the inspiration behind our festive display, with thanks to Sophie Duckworth Photography for the beautiful images.

Christmas at the ballet

This opulent festive display was inspired by the theme 'Christmas at the Ballet.' Featuring a colour palette of pale white and soft pinks alongside deep blues and green with pops of rich red and orange, the finished look is bright, colourful and full of joy. The team also focused on using plenty of dried flowers, to ensure that the display will last throughout the season, which included heather, wax flower, thistles, limone and berries.

The installation was finished off with festive embellishments such as dried orange and apple slices as well as pairs of pinecones hung from ribbon to resemble hanging ballet slippers.

We're in love with this colourful display - thank you so much to Ali, Becs and the Mad Lilies team for making The Chapel look so beautiful once again!
