Frederikke and Thomas' delightful wedding took place at the bride's family home in Chobham, with simple, elegant styling and a personal, intimate feel throughout the day.

Frederikke wore the wonderful 904 wedding dress by Jesus Peiro - a soft, effortlessly elegant dress featuring a simple crepe bodice above a romantic swishy tulle skirt. The dress is finished with a beautiful double calla lily ornament to the waist. We love that Frederikke changed her styling throughout the day, switching the chic up do she wore for the ceremony for glamorous curls for the reception.

This wedding is also the first we've shared with our friend, Jessica Grace Photography. Read on to see all of the images, and read about the day in Frederikke's own words.

Jesus Peiro 904 crepe & tulle wedding dress

In the end I choose a Jesus Peiro dress. I loved that it was very unique and contemporary whilst being very feminine and fluffy. It had just the right amount of princess to it. Plus it was very comfortable and allowed me to breathe and eat during the big day.

Dress Shopping

My mum came to all my appointments. I always trust her judgement and she felt it was the one right away.

My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was trying on all those amazing dresses - something I doubt I will ever get to do again! Choosing the dress is a major anxiety point, and Miss Bush didn’t put any pressure on me which was lovely.

Styling

I had the most gorgeous veil specially made by Miss Bush with tiny Swarovski crystals sewn on. It was so beautiful. I also had a tiara headpiece that sat with the veil and some stunning diamond hair clips that were a family heirloom. My shoes were baby pink satin.

About the day

It was a very personal wedding which we planned totally by ourselves. It was at my parents house which made it feel very relaxed and intimate, yet very elegant at the same time with a big white marquee and flowers all around.

My favourite part of the day was the speeches - I cried so much!

Frederikke's Advice

In general, try to ‘let go’ and outsource as much as possible - especially on the day duties so you don’t have to lift a finger on the actual day! It’s hard to trust others with such an important day, but you’ll miss it if you’re running around managing things!
