We're so excited to share Georgia and Tom's spectacular wedding with you today! The day took place in Surrey in early August, with the romantic ceremony at Shere Village Church, followed by a luxurious garden party reception at the family home. The styling was inspired by nature, with tons of exquisite florals and a colour palette of rich fresh greens and soft creamy whites.

Georgia is our first ever featured bride to wear a dress from Suzanne Neville's 2023 Opulence bridal collection. With a crisp, modern silhouette, Coworth by Suzanne Neville features a v-neckline with delicate shoulder straps. Below the fitted bodice is a full wrap skirt, revealing a glamorous front slit. Statement heels are an absolute must for a split skirt wedding dress and Georgia styled it perfectly, opting for iconic Jimmy Choo diamante heels.

For the reception, Georgie also changed into a fabulous custom jumpsuit from Jesus Peiro - perfect for dancing into the night!

Suzanne Neville Coworth wedding dress

I loved that it was simple and classic. The split skirt gave it a modern twist which made it feel more fun. I felt amazing wearing it!

I also chose a Jesus Peiro jumpsuit for my evening outfit, it was a bespoke design using the trousers from one JP jumpsuit, with the body of another JP dress. (I can't remember the names) I loved that it was easy to dance in and that I could wear it again in future.

My mum was there for every appointment, she was so supportive and got emotional at all the right times 🙂

Dress Shopping

I came with an open mind as I had heard a lot of people say you never choose the kind of dress you have pictured in your head, so I tried on lots of different styles which was so much fun. The sales team at Miss Bush were so friendly & helpful making the experience such an enjoyable one. Also, the chapel is an amazing place to try on wedding dresses, the setting & the lighting are perfect.

Styling

I chose a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes with a diamante strap. Had to go for a statement as the shoes were visible!

A luxurious garden wedding in Surrey

It was definitely inspired by nature. I wanted to feel as though we were sitting in the garden, therefore we chose a clear roof marque in front of the house which incorporated the fountain on the lawn. We had flower clouds and trees to create that fairy garden look. My dad jovially referred to the marquee in his speech as "the hanging gardens of Babylon!" Our marquee company thought we were crazy having a clear marquee on an August day, but we ended up having had thunder, lightning and torrential rain! And actually, having the rain beating down on the clear roof made it all the more romantic.

The best bits

The speeches. They were so emotional, funny and authentic - there wasn't a dry eye in sight! The best thing about our wedding was the overwhelming feeling of love.

Georgia's Advice

When it comes to dress shopping, have an open mind & try on all sorts of different styles. Go with your gut, and once you have chosen your dress, don't second guess it!

When it comes to planning a wedding, it is easy to get caught up in the small details and worry about things going wrong. But on the day, you won't care, as long as you have the people you love there. It torrential rained on our wedding day and I can honestly say it was the best day of my life - the rain did nothing to dampen the emotion of the day!
