Sophie and Jack's beautiful July wedding is a glorious example of a relaxed, laid back wedding day in a beautiful location, with a romantic outdoor ceremony followed by a marquee reception. Taking place on the west coast of Jersey where the bride grew up, the wedding took place at Bayview in St Ouen's Bay, boasting incredible sea views all around and breath-taking landscapes that made the most perfect backdrop for the celebrations.

Sophie wore Anna Kara's Jude wedding dress. The combination of wonderful textures, delicate fabrics and pretty floral motifs made Jude the ideal choice for Sophie - it fit perfectly with the relaxed feel of the day and the stunning natural location. Sophie styled her dress simply, allowing the dress to shine, option for a romantic veil, white petal earrings and a floral hair comb.

An Anna Kara Jude wedding dress

I chose Jude by Anna Kara and had a double lining, boned bodice and some strategically placed extra lace on the corset added. I had seen the dress online and knew that I loved it, and during my appointment with Corinne it was the first dress I tried on. I had the most fun trying on about 15 other dresses across a spectrum of styles in the chapel, but I think from the moment we walked in I knew that Jude was the one I loved. It was comfortable, lightweight, so pretty, and most of all I just felt like myself!

I brought my Mum and future Mother in Law - they were both beaming when I came out of the changing room and shed a tear when Corinne opened the Chapel doors to let the sunbeams flood in, it was a magical moment!

Dress Shopping

My favourite moment was during my final fitting with Ben, which I attended on my own. I hadn't been emotional at all up to that point as I just knew that I really loved the dress, but seeing the dress so perfectly tailored to me and what I had in mind was just so special and definitely the moment that it all started to feel real

Styling

I accessorised with shoes from The Rainbow Club, earrings by Vivi Embellish and my hair pin was by Eden B. Studio.

The best bits

I genuinely loved every single moment, but we invited our guests to join us for a morning swim and the moment that they all arrived at the beach in the morning was really special as it gave us the opportunity to see them more informally which really helped us to feel relaxed later on in the day. I also loved the moment that Jack and I were first alone together as we drove off together after the ceremony as we were just on cloud 9! Our amazing band 'Modelo' were also just incredible and a real hit with the guests.
