Roxy and Kyle's relaxed, colourful wedding took place at the stunning Alcaufar Vell hotel in Menorca. Their Persian ceremony took place outdoors in the stunning gardens, offering a rustic, natural backdrop for the traditional Sofreh Aghd; a beautifully decorated table representing the union between the bride and groom.

Roxy wore one of our favourite Jesus Peiro wedding dresses from recent years, Style 2316. This beautiful gown features a fitted strapless bodice above a chic wrap skirt with front split. The look is finished with bold puff sleeves. To style her bridal outfit, Roxy added bold drop earrings, and made the most of the split skirt with Roger Vivier's fabulous Strass heels in pink satin, finished with a floral diamante buckle. Finally, Roxy added a simple veil, which worked wonderfully with the statement sleeves.

Jesus Peiro 2316 wedding dress

I loved how flattering it was and that it had pockets! I also loved its versatility which meant I could take off the sleeves for dancing which made my dress look like a whole new style.

I went to most of the fittings by myself but I did bring my Mum for one and she loved the dress just as much as I did.

Dress Shopping

My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was trying on all sorts of different styles. I felt good in more styles than I thought I would.

The Miss Bush team were just so helpful and complimentary which just made me feel really good. We definitely worked together but I appreciated the level of expertise so much.

Styling

My style is bold I would say. I wore big earrings and pink shoes from Roger Vivier!

A colourful, elegant Persian wedding in Menorca

My inspiration was probably just the things I know I like which is a completely eclectic array of inspiration. I love elegant styles and fashion but also am obsessed with colour and didn't want to shy away from that in my shoes for instance. The venue and setting was so naturally beautiful we didn't want to interfere too much with that and the Persian ceremony complimented the Spanish Rustic backdrop so well.

The best bits

All of it! I can't believe how quickly it all went. Probably the speeches and the dancing at the end. I could have danced for so much longer, everyone let loose and we really just sang our hearts out.

Roxy's Advice

Trust your gut and what you like. Don't be afraid to try on loads of styles no matter how much they're not your taste - you may end up actually liking one or at least narrowing down what you don't like too. I think you know when you try it on that it's the one because you feel like a Goddess and also you can move haha.
