Hayley and Ryan's classic Surrey wedding took place at The Barn at Bury Court in mid October, with warm, cosy Autumnal vibes in keeping with the season. The barn was decorated with tons of rich green foliage and soft white flowers, with romantic candles and twinkling fairy lights for added cosiness.

Hayley wore Suzanne Neville's Orianna - a signature piece from the iconic British brand featuring their famous hidden inner corsetry for the most perfect fit. Orianna has a stunning off the shoulder neckline and sweeping fishtail skirt which looked incredible on Hayley, who styled her look with loose natural curls and a romantic veil.

Read on to find out more about the dress, and to read all about Hayley and Ryan's wedding day, as told by the bride.

Suzanne Neville Orianna wedding dress

I wore Orianna by Suzanne Neville. I felt amazing on the day. I felt confident and elegant, and most importantly, I felt like myself. I had lots of lovely compliments on the dress from our guests. The fit was just perfect, all thanks to the lovely Jo!

Dress Shopping

I brought my mum and sister along on my first appointment at the Chapel. I originally wanted to try on a long-sleeved lace dress but ended up with the complete opposite. I tried on several other dresses by other designers, but it was clear Suzanne Neville was most definitely the one! It came down to two dresses, but I felt most confident and like myself in Orianna. Thank you to Rosie and my sister for suggesting I try it on!

We had a wonderful experience at Miss Bush, from my very first appointment with Rosie, who eased my nerves. To Jo, who was brilliant during all of my fitting appointments. But the highlight of the dress shopping experience would have to be the Suzanne Neville designer day in October 2021. Meeting Suzanne Neville and having her draw a personalised sketch of the dress. The delicious cocktails and canapes helped too! Coming to Miss Bush with my Mum and Sister was my favourite part of the wedding planning process. It was such an exciting and memorable experience to share.

One issue I had was losing some weight between my fittings, which affected my final fitting appointment. But a HUGE thank you to Jo, who was amazing and managed to fit in additional alterations before the big day.

Styling

The dress was effortless and elegant, so it didn't need much accessorising. I wore a long classic veil, and a pair of Monica Vinader rose gold pearl earrings, a gift from my bridesmaids. I also wore a rose gold bracelet, a gift from my parents. My shoes were Kimmy Pearl by Charlotte Mills.

About the Day

The day was a romantic, warm, country, autumnal wedding with lots of natural wood, crisp whites, golds and greens. The barn looked beautiful on the day, better than I ever could have imagined. Full of candlelight and luscious green foliage. The flowers and the table centrepieces were gorgeous. We were married in front of stunning floral moongate, which was the centrepiece of the wedding decor. Our florists were the amazing Anne Marie from @rhubarbandbramley and Lizzie from @thebotanicalcompanyltd. We made quite a lot ourselves, including the signage, menus and place names.

The best bits

I loved every minute! But my favourite part of our day was the ceremony. Walking down the aisle to all of our friends and family. We were very lucky and had two lovely registrars who made our ceremony feel incredibly special and personal. We also had the brilliant THOM Music (@_thommusic) playing throughout our day, which created a fantastic atmosphere. Walking down the aisle with my Dad to his cover of Here Comes the Sun is a special memory.

Hayley's Advice

Be open-minded about dress styles, the style I ended up with was the opposite of what I thought I wanted! Enjoy the build-up to the wedding day as much as you possibly can!
