Tissy and Ebe were married in April at a stunning cherry blossom inspired Spring wedding, which took place at St Katharine's Church in Savernake Forest followed by an elegant marquee reception at Rockley Manor.

Tissy wore the stunning Suzanne Neville Nouveau wedding dress, featuring a chic off the shoulder neckline that suited Tissy's effortless, elegant style perfectly. The dress also boasted a bespoke petticoat, handmade at Tissy's request to make more of a feature of the beautiful pleated skirt, which looked absolutely wonderful on the day!

Suzanne Neville Nouveau wedding dress

It was the first time I felt like a BRIDE - classy and a lil sassy and slinky!!

I often wear an bardot / off the shoulder style top and when I spotted the Nouveau hanging up in the Chapel I HAD to have it. The structured corset meant it sat beautifully on my upper half and the position of the waist band and elegant buttons down the back is the perfect blend of classy, sexy and elegant!  The Nouveau is timeless with a fabulous flare!

I am hoping to have my dress shortened a little and possible dyed a different colour so I can continue to wear it at black tie and swanky events forever!

Dress Shopping

My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was Corrine teaching me how to walk with a bouquet of flowers not covering my face!

Seriously, the whole experience at the Chapel was amazing. I was like a child in a sweet shop ( actually, I am still like that in a sweet shop!) It reminded me of when you were young and used to get ready with your friends before a party... trying on different outfits until you all agreed on the perfect one. The chapel was so warm and the team and personable too.

I really wanted to make "more" of the pleated bottom of the Nouveau dress. I asked Jo if I could wear a petticoat to almost create a fish tail bottom. We tried on a couple but none of them quite met Jo's high standards so she made me my own bespoke petticoat and managed to create the look was after - PERFECTLY which I know it wasn't easy! Thank you <3

Styling

I wanted the silhouette and design of the dress to do the talking. I love a veil and choose a very light and elegant one and paired it with flowers in my hair from Green Parlour which I then kept on all day and night! I had some custom baroque pearl drop earrings made from my favorite town in Italy and I went for pink suede shoes with a big ivory bow on them from Emmy London. They look super cool now with jeans and a t-shirt too!

Anna Davies Parkes did my make up and extremely natural and simple as I wanted to still look like me!

A cherry blossom inspired Spring wedding at Rockley Manor

Spring is my fave time of year and Cherry Blossom is my flower so we went with a Chinoiserie style to make it a little different. My mum and sister had surprises for me around every corner - they even hand painted huge cherry blossom wall panels and hung them on every wall in the marquee!

Ebe and I met through our passion for horses - so we had to have a horse and carriage too!

The best bits

The surprises throughout the day:

* My brother in law playing with the band for my entrance song
* My best friends formed a choir at the alter during my favourite hymn in the church and sang the descant!
* The best band ever - @thelondonessentials surprising us all half way through the reception and entertaining us for hours

Tissy's Advice
