If you love a classic London city wedding as much as we do, this wedding is for you! Cat and Blake were married in June, in a fun and relaxed traditional London pub wedding. Starting with a reception at Brixton Town Hall, the couple and their guests made their way to The County Arms in Wandsworth in a fabulous vintage Routemaster bus.

Cat opted to wear 2214 from Jesus Peiro. This style is available as either an A-line skirt or a jumpsuit with culottes; the jumpsuit version was just made for this moment and was the perfect choice for Cat! To style the look, Cat chose a pair of striking bright red heels with a co-ordinating red lip.

Jesus Peiro 2214 jumpsuit

I went for the Jesus Peiro 2214 as a jumpsuit with culottes. I asked for it to be shorted to my ankles to show of pop red high heels. I did not come into Miss Bush thinking I would end up in a jumpsuit! But once we'd tried it on we all knew...it was the one. As we had a London pub wedding I didn't feel like a long dress was appropriate but I wanted to feel elegant. The culottes made me feel comfortable dancing but also made it elegant like I was wearing a dress so perfect in everyway. I got so many compliments! I felt amazing and I intend to dye it and wear it many more times! Loved it!

Dress Shopping

My mum came for the first fitting, my sister for the second and my bridesmaid for the third! I wanted everyone to have a chance. My sister was in tears but also looking out for what she might wear when her time comes!

My favourite part of the dress shopping was working with Emma so closely. I felt so well looked after and we had a laugh. It felt like I could really be myself and we could discuss openly how I felt and what I wanted. I was in great hands!

I was really worried about finding something that would fit over my bust. I have always had a large bust for my frame and I didn't want it to be the main event. I know how hard it's been trying to find dresses and tops all my adult life and I knew I needed to go to a bridal boutique which would really understand that often the bra comes first. Miss Bush was that place! I think we amended my bra about 5 times along with the jumpsuit!

Styling

Yep red pop shoes, red lips, red bouquet, red nails and a jean jacket at the end.

About the Day

I wanted a tradition London pub style and we had a vintage routemaster bus too! Exposed brick and odd old leather chairs. Nothing too glamourous.

The best bits

Walking down the aisle with my Mum and Dad on each arm!

Catherine's Advice

Do be fussy. It is worth it. I took a lot of time over the planning of our wedding. We did it in 8 months but I spent a lot of time making choices that were right for us, picking the right food and music and transport etc. It does make a difference. You have it how you want it never be ashamed of that. Also, being married is really fun! Just so you know it's all worth it!
