Lauren and Keith's wedding took place in April at Quinta De Sant'Ana a family run, working vineyard just outside of Lisbon, Portugal. Set in rolling hills, the vineyard provided our couple with a unique experience in beautiful natural setting. The resulting wedding day was relaxed, romantic and full of fun and laughter.

Lauren wore a custom Jesus Peiro wedding dress, which she created by combining the elements she loved from two different styles. Starting with the slit wrap skirt from 2203, Lauren then added the bodice and back straps from 2351. Lauren styled her look with simple but effective accessories, opting for a single tier veil and pearl drop earrings, whilst her hair was styled in a chic high ponytail. The wrap skirt was complemented perfectly with Loeffler Randall Camellia sandals in a delicate floral fabric.

A Jesus Peiro wedding dress

I chose a bespoke Jesus Peiro matching the 2203 modern and elegant slit wrap skirt with the flattering v-neck and cross-back of the 2351. Emma and Rosie designed the dress for me and I knew straight away that it was 'perfect'. The lines created by the full skirt, thick waistband and simple v-neck made me feel sexy and modern, will the cross-back was a litte fun and completely me. It was tailored perfectly, holding me in all the right places - even when put to the test on the dance floor.

Dress Shopping

With my family and bridesmaids in Australia, my dress fittings often required a zoom meeting. Emma and her team were more then happy to dial in my family and play host to the myriad of opinions. They were patient and caring and stepped in to fill the role of family when needed. It wasn't until my wedding day that my bridal party and mum got to see the final dress. I will never forget my Dad coming in for the big reveal on the day - he cried, my mum cried, we all cried. Those quiet moments before the wedding, is something that I will never forget. The dress was truly perfect.

My favorite part of dress shopping was always knowing that Emma and her team were there, would do anything to make sure the dress was perfect and always feeling fully supported. The team were honest and flexible and it felt like they always had my best interests at heart. Thank you!

Styling

The styling was so much fun! I had a long simple veil that went down past the train of my dress creating a beautiful long line. For accessories, I had simple drop pearl earrings with my hair-up in a high bouncy ponytail to accentuate the neckline. I left the neckline clean, feeling that the v-neck was statement enough. My shoes were the fun and flirty Loeffler Randall Camellia with tiny flowers across the fabric. I had a white cropped fluffy shrug to wear as it got cooler in the night, the crop meant that my waistline was still highlighted by the dress.

About the Day

The styling was based on the very beautiful Quinta. The Quinta has such a unique backdrop with beautiful yellow buildings, purple wisteria and green rolling hills. It is romantic and natural. We had lots of neutral colors for the bridesmaids and deep blues for the grooms. All the flowers were from the vineyard and featured large amounts of greenery and some white flowers. It was about understated elegance.

The best bits

My favourite part was sitting at dinner, next to my husband and looking out at all of our family and friends from both sides of the world together. My family had flown in from Australia and Keith's from the UK. We had friends from Amsterdam and Dubai. I don't know when or if we will all be together like that again. It was so special.
